User Account
Your PerfoAds user account controls your login, subscription, and personal settings.
Account Information
Email Address
The email you use to log into PerfoAds. This cannot be changed after account creation.
Profile Name
How your name appears in the dashboard (visible in the top-right corner).
Account Avatar
Your profile picture shown in the user menu.
To change:
- Click your profile icon in the top-right
- Select "Settings"
- Upload a new profile picture
Subscription & Billing
Subscription Plans
Click "Manage Subscription" in Settings > Business Profile to:
- View available plans
- Subscribe to PerfoAds
- Upgrade or downgrade plans
- Update payment method
- View billing history
Billing is handled securely by LemonSqueezy (our payment processor).
Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods:
- Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- PayPal (select regions)
Invoices
Download invoices from the LemonSqueezy billing portal:
- Click "Manage Subscription"
- View invoice history
- Download PDF invoices for accounting
Security
Password
To change your password:
- Log out of PerfoAds
- Click "Forgot Password" on login page
- Enter your email
- Follow the reset link sent to your email
Password requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one number
- At least one special character
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Currently not available, but planned for future release.
Session Management
You're automatically logged out after 7 days of inactivity for security.
Active session: You stay logged in as long as you use PerfoAds regularly.
Logging Out
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select "Sign Out".
When to log out:
- Using a shared computer
- Finished working for the day (on public WiFi)
- Switching between multiple accounts
Notifications
In-App Notifications
Bell icon (🔔) in the top navigation shows:
- New Smart Alerts
- System notifications
- Account updates
Click the bell to view recent notifications.
Email Notifications
Configure in Settings > Email Notifications:
- Smart Alert emails
- Sync status emails
- Daily/weekly reports
- Account updates
Account Limits
Plan Limits
Varies by plan. Check your plan details in the billing portal.
Account Deletion
To permanently delete your account:
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to "Danger Zone" section
- Click "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion
⚠️ Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What gets deleted:
- Your user account and login
- All connected clients
- All synced Google Ads data
- All AI chat history
- All business context entries
- Subscription is cancelled immediately
What is NOT affected:
- Your actual Google Ads campaigns (remain untouched)
- Your Google account (still exists)
- Previously downloaded invoices (keep your copies)
Privacy & Data
What Data PerfoAds Stores
- Your email address (for login)
- Connected Google Ads data (for dashboard)
- Business context you provide
- AI chat conversation history
- Sync logs and activity history
Data Security
- All data encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- All data encrypted at rest (database encryption)
- Regular security audits
- SOC 2 compliant infrastructure (Supabase)
Data Sharing
PerfoAds never shares or sells your data:
- ❌ No third-party advertising
- ❌ No data reselling
- ❌ No sharing with partners
- ✅ Only used to provide you service
Exporting Your Data
To export your data:
- Contact support at support@perfoads.com
- Request a data export
- Receive your data within 7 business days
Export includes:
- All Google Ads data synced to your account
- Business context entries
- AI chat history
- Account settings
