Data and privacy
This page explains in plain words what PerfoAds can see, what it does with it, and how you stay in control. The legal details are in our privacy policy.
Signing in
- You sign in with Google. PerfoAds never sees your Google password.
- You stay signed in for 7 days. Then you sign in again.
- Sign Out is in Settings, on the Account tab.
What PerfoAds can see
- Your Google Ads account: campaigns, ads, keywords, search terms, budgets, conversions and results.
- Your Merchant Center account: only if you use the Feed Optimizer. Your products and how they are set up.
- Your email address, from your Google login.
- Your answers to the questions when you start an audit or build a campaign, and what PerfoAds reads on your website.
What PerfoAds does with it
- Shows it to you on the Overview and in the tools.
- Checks it for problems and writes findings and suggestions.
- Sends parts of it to an AI service to write those findings and suggestions.
What PerfoAds can change
PerfoAds can change your Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts, but only:
- after the account owner turns on Google Ads writes, and
- after you see a preview and approve each change.
Most changes can be undone for 30 days. See Changes and undo.
Who else can see your data
- Your team: people you invite. Specialists only see the accounts you assign to them.
- People with a share link: if you share an audit report, anyone with that link can read that 1 report. You can turn the link off at any time.
- Stripe: handles your payments. You type your card details on Stripe's page, not ours.
Removing an account
On the Overview, open the account's menu and choose Remove Client. This deletes that account's Overview, monitoring and optimizer data straight away. It cannot be undone. Your audit reports stay in your history.
Taking back access
Remove PerfoAds on your Google account's third-party access page. PerfoAds then can no longer read or change your accounts.
