Getting started

You sign in with Google, connect your Google Ads account, and run your first audit. It takes a few minutes to set up.

1. Sign in with Google

Go to audit.perfoads.com and click the Google sign-in button.

2. Choose a plan

You need a monthly plan to use the app. You can also buy 1 audit on its own. See Billing.

3. Connect your Google Ads account

Click Google Ads Audit, then New Audit.

  1. If Google Ads is not connected yet, click connect. Google opens a window and asks you to allow access.
  2. Pick the Google Ads account you want to check. If you only have 1, it is picked for you.
  3. Answer a few short questions about your business. For example: your website, what you sell, your monthly ad spend and your main goal.
  4. Start the audit. Your report is ready in about 30 minutes.

Each new account you connect this way also shows up on your Overview.

What access we ask for, and why

Google shows you a list when you connect. Here is what each item means.

Access Why we need it
Google Ads To read your campaigns for the audit and the Overview. Also to make changes, but only the ones you approve.
Merchant Center Only if you use the Feed Optimizer. To read your products and send improved titles and labels back.
Your email address To know who you are when you sign in.

Important: PerfoAds CAN make changes to your Google Ads account. It only makes a change after you see a preview and click to approve it. Most changes can be undone for 30 days. See Changes and undo.

How to remove our access

You can take away PerfoAds' access at any time on your Google account's third-party access page. After that, PerfoAds can no longer read or change your account.

To also delete the data PerfoAds holds for an account, see Data and privacy.
